Teacher by day; programmer by night. Master Key Spanish is the product of what happens when the lines of work-life balance start to blur. Welcome to my page where you get to experience a sense of my hidden personality. I knew you'd find me eventually.

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Mr. Clarke. I'd shake your hand, but, well, you know...Crazy times, huh? If you want to know my goals for your child's development in this class, click here. Otherwise, treat this page as a virtual orientation. Only, instead of listening to me talk about the class for an hour, we form a bond and get into more personal topics. I usually don't talk much about myself unprompted. But, when I'm writing, you are afforded the option of not reading, and you won't hurt my feelings should you choose to exercise that option. So, I typically don't hold back. I sound much more accomplished on paper anyway.

Masterkey Spanish is a custom website designed and developed by me. In addition to the website administrator, I'm also the Spanish teacher at my school, the Computer Science teacher, and I help out with technology too. Oh, and did I mention I'm an independent web developer? Needless to say, I have a lot on my plate. I think I've said enough already. You get the idea. I don't want to distract too much from the real reason why I built this website.

I wanted to create a virtual showroom where I could display the inspiring content that my students produce and build a community of support for them in the process. Our website demonstrates, to students, the real life application of what we're learning in the classroom. At Master Key Spanish, we're not shuffling to turn in assignments that will be lost after they're handed back. Here, the students work really hard to draft, edit, and refine content that they can be proud to share with the community.

If you'd like to show your support, you can sign up to our newsletter. I'll be continually updating the website throughout the school year adding content, student work, and even updating this section; I'm always adding to my list of qualities. In addition, I will be adding new features such as learning resources and the option to donate to our class fund. With all of the hats I wear during the day, this may take some time, and I'll be notifying our subscribers of significant changes.
